Wolfgang
Wolfgang was found at the dump one morning in March 2006. It had gotten down to the low 30's the night before and was only in the high 40's that day. He was just barely old enough to be away from his mother. He was simply skin and bones and completely dehydrated. He wouldn't have made it through another night. Fortunately for him, a man on his way to work spotted him and called us. The man said he was very weak and looked a lot like a hyena. When we brought him in, he ate and drank non-stop for about half an hour before he finally decided to check us out. Now at six months old he's looking quite handsome. He's long and lanky and he still looks a little bit like a hyena but he's very well behaved, loving, and grateful to be here.

Randy
Randy was living in an old empty house that was about to be renovated. The contractors were feeding him and looking out for him but cold weather was coming and so was major reconstruction so he needed to find a better place to live. He has been here since October 2005. He is very personable and lovable.

Stella and Callie
Stella (the dalmation)came to us in October 2004 as a young puppy. She had been found on the side of the road. As her first act of puppyizm in her new home, she chewed every wire in the office in half. Although Stella is still young, she has acute arthritis problems.
Callie came here in November 2004 after running out in front of my truck on a highway and laying down with her paws in the air. I got out of the truck and she just lay there looking at me so i scooped her up and brought her home. She is the alarmist in the group. If the wind blows, Callie will be the first one to announce it to the group. UPDATE--Stella has been adopted and now lives n Virginia Beach. Congratulations, Stella!
