Zoie
	Zoie was given up by her person. She is a two year old brindle and white boxer. She is a sweetheart. She's good in the house and listens well. She does like to be the boss but as soon as that is understood by all, everything is fine. She is now spayed and she has some training - the basics - sit, stay, walking on a leash, etc and loves to ride in the car.

Ninja Kitty

Ninja Kitty was dropped off at the dump. She's young and hateful. Her claws are as sharp as little knives. She terrorizes anyone in her path. The other cats see her and turn the other direction, hoping to avoid her. The dogs cringe when they see her near them. She has no problem attacking the nose of a large dog, even if the poor dog is fast asleep. Her long hair was full of matts when she came here just after Christmas and she is just now - in March - deciding that she likes me enough to let me brush and comb her hair. She has her favorite places to sleep and her own bowls for food - and you better not get near them. She soon delivered 3 little ninja's - all three young ladies look and act just like mommy. They will be 8 weeks old the end of May 2009.

Mia

Mia was dumped at the dump in Rice, VA shortly after christmas 2008. She is an mature adult cat used to living in style – canned food, her own bed, no other cats and no dogs! She came from a household that smoked – you can nuzzle your nose into her fur and you smell the strong odor of cigarette smoke. Although she seemed to be doing fine at the dump, she now has no desire to go outside and is perfectly content to sit in the chair she has claimed and be tended to by her staff.

Joanie & Chachi

These two kittens were being given away in a parking lot. The person giving them away didn't know how old they were or if they were boys or girls. She said they were persians - which they are not. They were about 6 months old when they came to us, one boy and one girl. Chachi has one blue eye and one green. Joanie has two blue eyes and she is deaf. Chachi is the trouble maker but he can produce the most innocent look that you tend to question his guilt. They are both great friends with Arby.
