On November 16th, one of our beloved senior horses, Honey, passed away. She was about 26 and before she came here, had lived a hard life. It took a long time to gain her trust and once she felt free to show it, she had a wonderful loving personality. She will be sadly missed by all. Especially her longtime "boyfriend", Generator. We often see him standing near her grave.

My best buddy Dreyfus went to heaven on April 10, 2008. At the age of 8, he was old for his breed. After living the last 2 years of his life with his back legs paralized, he just couldn't do it any more. So, now he is in heaven and he can run and play again. I miss him every day.

December 2009
Our senior mare, Amber, has passed away at about 25 years old. She had a hard life filled with neglect until she came to us in 2004. It took us years to stabilize her hooves and legs so that she was without pain. She was happiest with a pasture to herself and shelter of her own. Good bye Amber, we will miss seeing you every day.
